EAE Madrid brings together more than 1,100 students and 125 companies at EAE Talent 24 in the Civitas Metropolitano

On 19th March, the Civitas Metropolitano stadium welcomed over 1100 students and alumni from the different Master programs run by EAE Business School Madrid, owned by Planeta Formación y Universidades, who had the chance to interact with 125 companies in the 8th edition of EAE Talent 2024.

At EAE Talent 24, the participants had the opportunity to showcase their skills and have interviews with Human Resources professionals from leading companies such as Alsea, Ford, Grünenthal Pharma, Cepsa, La Liga, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, KREAB, Publicis Groupe, PWC, STEF, Volvo Cars, and many others, looking to cover their job and internship vacancies. The aim of this event is to boost, not only networking, but also innovation and new technologies among the different profiles of students at EAE Madrid and the companies.

Talent 2

Federica Assandria, the Director of the Professional Careers and Entrepreneurship Department at EAE Business School Madrid, emphasizes the importance of this event as a key part of  our students’ experience. “We organize Talent EAE every year with the greatest enthusiasm, aware of the significant impact its employability strategies generate, as we can see from the number of new employment and internship contracts signed after the events with the more than 120 participating companies”. “Moreover, during this year’s edition, we have organized other activities such as conferences focusing on innovation in pioneering companies, as well as a space for robotics and technology that promised to give the participants a unique experience".

TALENT 6

As a new development this year, the event included a space focusing on AI and Augmented Reality, where the participants had the chance to try out Apple Vision Pro and simulators that let them fly over New York or kayak down the amazon, all thanks to the collaboration of EAE Madrid’s partner, Casual Robots.

The also had the opportunity to experience driving a Polestar in the area around Civitas Metropolitano.

Moreover, as part of this 8th edition of the event, 6 talks were given on a range of topics: “The 3-body problem” led by Javier Sirvent, the Technology Evangelist; “Talgo: High-Speed Innovation” by Alfredo González, the Head of Corporate Venturing at Talgo; “Technology and Innovation for a Sustainable Future” by Ignacio Lago, the Consulting Solutions & Strategy Director at Microsoft; “The Impact of AI on the Labour Market” by Eduardo Rafael, Life Sciences Team Leader at Randstad; “From Entrepreneurship to Love Brand” by Enrique Lefeld from Goiko; and, lastly, “Discover Amazon Operations” by Mafalda Ramos, the Operation Manager at Amazon.

ABOUT EAE TALENT MADRID

For 8 years now, EAE Business School Madrid has organized Spain’s biggest employability fair, EAE Talent. The objective of Talent EAE Madrid is to provide a space that fosters connections, where the participating companies can boost their employer branding strategy and publicize their vacant positions, while students can explore new internship and job opportunities. EAE Talent also strives to support students in their search for new opportunities in the national and/or international employment market, all within a context of innovation thanks to the complementary activities that promote knowledge and professional development.

Over the course of these 8 years, more than 7,000 students and alumni and over 400 companies have taken part in EAE Talent.
