Do you know the Retail of 2023?
How will Retail, the largest employer in Spain, evolve?
Retail has 2023 ahead of it, which will be a fascinating year for world retail, conceptually one of the most important in history for several reasons.
- A new real consumer emerges.
- There will only be one channel: the consumer. Approaches like omnichannel will be prehistory.
- Big cities will experience hyperpersonalization.
- The digitization of physical stores will accelerate radically.
- Electronic commerce will be humanized.
- Sustainability will no longer be negotiable.
- China will become the trendsetter of the West.
- How will this sector adapt to these new challenges?
- To address how Retail will evolve from an omnichannel to an omni-client scenario, how physical stores adapt to new consumers or how e-commerce is coexisting perfectly with physical stores, we will have some exceptional speakers:
A round table that takes place thanks to the context of the launch of the MBA Retail Executive, a training in which all the speakers are part of the faculty, and the book "Jeff Bezos" by Laureano Turienzo. An important book when it comes to understanding the Retail environment since Jeff Bezos is the father of Amazon, who has changed the ways of consumption in the West.

Inspiring Future: Fashion and beauty companies are looking for innovative professionals who leave their mark
Behind the luxury and glamor that surrounds the fashion and beauty sector, there is a whole network of professionals who contribute to making this one of the capital industries of the world economy. And we are not only talking about designers, models, makeup artists or photographers, but also marketing and communication experts (among others) who look after all aspects of a product and who make it easier for a designer or a company to make a difference in a hyper-competitive market.
In addition, in the current changing environment where environmental, energy and economic uncertainty prevails, the fashion and beauty sector must quickly adapt and innovate to integrate technology into all its processes and sustainability as their axis, with the objective to guarantee the experience that the user is demanding. This has become an essential issue for its growth, both in digital and virtual environments and in physical spaces.
On the other hand, social networks and influencers are today a very powerful source of content creation and trends. That is why brands are betting, more and more, on carrying out campaigns in these media and with this type of profile.
In short, the future of marketing in this field depends on having well-prepared professionals to manage constant changes, innovate, introduce and use new technologies and leave their mark on the consumer. And, for this, specialization and a global vision of the processes and needs of this industry are essential.
To talk about all these challenges regarding the future of marketing in fashion and beauty, at EAE Business School Madrid we are pleased to bring together six speakers, leaders within the industry and collaborators of our Master in Marketing Management in Fashion and Beauty, in a round table, next Thursday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m.

EAE MAd OnCampus: New trends in the financial sector. From personal advice to neobanking
The world of retail investment has undergone a paradigm shift. A decade ago, the Spanish market was exclusively in the hands of traditional commercial banks, which are based on a physical branch model and investment in its own product. However, the system has evolved towards a multi-channel model, in which the democratization of investment is pursued through open architecture and the products of independent managers.
They will accompany us:
- Ramón Carrasco, Carmignac Business Development Director for Spain and Portugal. Independent company with a reference shareholder (Carmignac family). The company focuses on asset management, accumulating more than 32 years of experience. It is present in 15 countries, managing more than €41,700M. The product range consists of 23 strategies across 36 funds.
- Clarisa Sekulits, Head of Financial Education at MyInvestor. MyInvestor is a neobank owned by Andbank Spain, El Corte Inglés Seguros, AXA Spain and several 'family offices'. It operates as a banking agent for Andbank Spain, is supervised by the Bank of Spain and the CNMV and adheres to the Spanish Deposit Guarantee Fund. With a business volume of more than 1,800 million euros, it is the largest fintech in Spain and offers the full range of banking services: accounts, cards, mortgages, insurance and investment products (funds, plans and roboadvisor).
