EAE Madrid participates as a driver and agent within the startup ecosystem at the International Startup Ecosystem Congress

EAE Business School Madrid participated as a driver and contributor to the ecosystem at the prestigious International Startup Ecosystem Congress, held in Seville from December 13th to 15th.

This congress stands as the largest gathering in the international startup ecosystem, bringing together over 700 business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors from 46 countries.

Co-organized by LISA (Levant International Startup Association) and Business Market Network, its aim was to foster alliances between innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup ecosystems.

EAE Business School Madrid contributed to the event as a speaker in two panel discussions, providing insights into the Startup Ecosystem in Spain with Anindya Saha, Director of Investments at EAE Madrid's Entrepreneurship project and CEO of Nero Ventures, and the Startup Ecosystem in Latam with Ximena Rodríguez Durán, Campus Manager for Entrepreneurship at EAE Madrid and Co-founder of Time to Dial. These sessions delved into the analysis of the new 2023 Startup Law and its impact on the sector for both entrepreneurs and investors. Additionally, they discussed how to enhance the close relationship between Spain and Latam through entrepreneurship.

"At EAE Business School Madrid, we have a very interesting proportion of students from Latin America, particularly in the entrepreneurship area, representing around 65%, mainly from Colombia, Peru, Mexico, and Chile. We aim to continue being a gateway from Latam to Europe, fostering the creation of startups that can scale swiftly within Spain and other countries. We're creating various paths for entrepreneurship to not only strengthen startup creation but also boost the growth of current student startups and maximize their potential for the coming years," concludes Ximena Durán.
