Víctor Mur, from Start Up Lean Waste, gives a session to EAE Emprende Madrid students

Last Thursday, February 15, the students of EAE Business School Madrid enrolled in the EAE Emprende route had the last activity of the Pyramid, in which they listened to the testimony of Víctor Mur, from the Start Up Lean Waste, winner of the EAE Propeller in the October 2020 edition. Victor presented the Start Up and its development process thanks to EAE Emprende. The Start Up has been in the incubation process from October to February 2022.

Victor told the students that “one of the most important things for him and the other members of the Star Up has been the experience with the EAE Business School Madrid Propeller, as it has been very enriching and has offered them a great opportunity to get your Start Up up and running”

“Lean Waste is a project designed within the circular economy, since waste is an ecological problem for the health of the planet”, explained Víctor. Likewise, the entrepreneur said that to start the project they first had to identify the problem that citizens have, in this case, people who like to recycle and cannot find a place to put the recycling bins in their kitchens because they usually take up a lot of space.

To validate the idea, they carried out a Paid campaign on RRSS and with this they verified that there was an upward trend. Once they had all the data, they developed the CUBECO device, a cube that helps to separate by reducing the volume of waste such as paper and cardboard through compaction.

Likewise, Victor told the comparison they made with the competition and the needs that were in the market to reach more people.

Once Víctor explained the whole process of launching the StartUp, the students divided into groups to work using Business Design techniques that facilitate the rethinking of a business model, as in this case the Startup Lean Waste.

At the end of the event, Victor evaluated the different proposals that the students presented.
