The School welcomes more than 1,000 students from nearly 70 countries for a new academic year marked by the integration of AI into learning, employability and professional development. Executives from L’Oréal, Boeing and Navantia take part in Connect Day, giving students first-hand insights into the business world.
EAE Business School Madrid, part of the Planeta Formación y Universidades higher education network, has welcomed more than 1,000 new students from nearly 70 countries to Connect Day, an event that featured professionals from multinational companies including L’Oréal, Boeing and Navantia.
The new academic year brings two major developments: the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) throughout all its academic programs and a hyper-personalized career guidance system that enables students to design career pathways tailored to their individual profiles and goals. Both initiatives aim to align the students’ learning with the needs of the labour market and help them develop skills that can be applied in the business environment.
The new students are beginning their studies on programs in the areas of Business Management, Finance Management, Marketing & Digital Transformation, Supply Chain Management, Tech & Data Management and Talent & Leadership Management.
Artificial intelligence across all programs: from theory to creating AI agents
EAE Madrid is integrating artificial intelligence throughout all its academic programs, combining a theoretical foundation with practical training tailored to each area of specialization.
Within the framework of this initiative, students will learn to design and develop their own specialized artificial intelligence agent, capable of carrying out tasks related to their professional field, such as research, information analysis, report preparation and decision-making support.
The goal is for students not only to learn how to use this technology, but also to integrate it into their workflows to improve productivity and tackle real-world business challenges.
Personalized career guidance to enhance employability
The School has also completely redesigned its professional careers ecosystem, adopting a hyper-personalized, global approach supported by artificial intelligence to measure professional impact.
The main new developments include the launch of MAS MBA (MBA Acceleration Scan), a professional assessment and planning system that analyses each student’s profile, identifies skills gaps and defines a personalized pathway to help them achieve their career goals.
Developed in collaboration with technology company CIBUC, the tool supports students from the moment they join EAE and throughout their entire experience at the School, combining data, strategic guidance and individual follow-up to maximize their employability and leadership potential.
The professional development program is complemented by initiatives such as Future Skills, in partnership with LinkedIn, in which students tackle real-world corporate challenges through hackathons and gain certification in critical skills sought by multinational companies.
Another key initiative is CEO x 1 Day, an experience that connects MBA and Executive students with senior executives in cities such as London, Rome and Brussels.
These initiatives are underpinned by the School’s strong employability results, with an overall employment rate of 90%, rising to 97% for Full-Time programs, in an international environment where 67% of students come from outside Spain.
Connect Day: professionals from L’Oréal, Boeing and Navantia share their experience with new students
EAE Business School Madrid kicked off the academic year on Tuesday 20 October with Connect Day, held at LOOM Events AZCA in Madrid.
The event marks the start of Welcome, a week of activities designed to help new students become part of the academic community, introduce them to the School’s services and encourage connections between classmates from different nationalities and professional backgrounds.

The day began with a talk by Tomás Aznar, Dean of EAE Business School Madrid, who highlighted the importance of each student defining their own professional path:
“At EAE, we want to help you decide what you want to become. Our commitment is to make sure your compass is as strong as possible, but you are the ones who have to decide where you want to go. We will do it together.”
Sara Herrero, Vice-Dean for Academic Planning and Financial Management at EAE Business School Madrid, highlighted the calibre and professional experience of the faculty and the opportunities the School offers beyond the classroom:
“I encourage you to make the most of every opportunity the School offers you and to become part of this community. Speak up, work hard and, above all, with plenty of passion to bring out the very best in yourselves.”
Self-awareness, curiosity and networking: the keys to professional development
The event also featured professionals from international companies, who shared their experiences and insights on how to navigate the challenges of the labour market.

Alejandro Martín, Talent Director at L’Oréal, encouraged students to identify their strengths with the help of those around them and to have “courageous, genuine and transparent conversations” as part of their personal and professional growth.
Claudia Mitogo-Jang, Financial Analyst at Boeing, emphasized the importance of curiosity and courage when embarking on new stages in their careers:
“We don’t know where the decisions we make will take us, but we can respond with curiosity, a desire to learn and courage.”
Finally, Iago González, a graduate of EAE Business School Madrid and Head of Open Innovation at Monodon, Navantia, highlighted the importance of the professional relationships he built during his time as a student:
“I’ve met many of these people over the course of my professional career, but I met the vast majority during my time at EAE, both on my Master’s Degree and from other postgraduate programs. It’s a network I still turn to regularly today.”
Welcome EAE Madrid: a week designed to connect with the international academic community
Throughout the Welcome event, new students take part in a range of activities designed to help them settle into the School and adapt to this new stage in their academic and personal lives.

These include a mental health workshop focused on managing change, which is particularly relevant for international students facing the challenge of settling into a new country.
The program also featured information sessions with program directors and coordinators, as well as meetings with the career guidance, professional development and entrepreneurship teams, giving students the opportunity to discover the resources and services available to them beyond the classroom.
Students can also visit information stands run by companies offering benefits on products and services, such as banking and gym memberships, and meet the EAE Business School Madrid ambassadors, who support new arrivals and present them with their welcome packs.
The Welcome week therefore combines the arrival of a new international cohort with access to academic and professional opportunities from the very start of the academic year, in a year in which artificial intelligence and personalized career guidance will play a central role in their learning experience at EAE Madrid.
