Students of the Master in International Tourism and Leisure Management visit the Madrid Food Innovation Hub facilities.

The students of the Master in International Tourism and Leisure Management, visited last Monday, November 7, the facilities of the Madrid Food Innovation Hub as part of the practical training of the subject Innovation and entrepreneurial mindset.

There, they learned about the importance of innovation in food products and gastronomic solutions, thanks to this institution and some of the entrepreneurs working in its facilities. "Gastronomy is a trend that represents an important economic lever for the city of Madrid as well as an important support for the growth of its international image."

One of the most important lessons they took away were the live experiences, asking about the role of this type of public bodies within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as meeting companies in their early stages that consider these visits as a symbiosis, as they want to know the honest opinion of potential customers to test their business models, identify possible mistakes and enhance their successes.

The students ended the visit by attending the Gastrotalks, where Bruno González, from Grosso Napoletano, reviewed the different phases that the company had to face, and delved into the internationalization stage, which they will begin shortly.
