The world of retail investment has undergone a paradigm shift. A decade ago, the Spanish market was exclusively in the hands of traditional commercial banks, which are based on a physical branch model and investment in its own product. However, the system has evolved towards a multi-channel model, in which the democratization of investment is pursued through open architecture and the products of independent managers.

  • Ramón Carrasco, Carmignac Business Development Director for Spain and Portugal. Independent company with a reference shareholder (Carmignac family). The company focuses on asset management, accumulating more than 32 years of experience. It is present in 15 countries, managing more than €41,700M. The product range consists of 23 strategies across 36 funds.
  • Clarisa Sekulits, Head of Financial Education at MyInvestor. MyInvestor is a neobank owned by Andbank Spain, El Corte Inglés Seguros, AXA Spain and several 'family offices'. It operates as a banking agent for Andbank Spain, is supervised by the Bank of Spain and the CNMV and adheres to the Spanish Deposit Guarantee Fund. With a business volume of more than 1,800 million euros, it is the largest fintech in Spain and offers the full range of banking services: accounts, cards, mortgages, insurance and investment products (funds, plans and roboadvisor).
