"You are in one of the best schools in the world to learn and bring out the best in yourselves"

With this phrase the Dean of EAE Business School Madrid, Antonio Rodríguez Ruibal, welcomed the almost 300 students of the Full Time, Part Time and Weekend Masters, who start the academic year on April 23rd and who yesterday, had the opportunity to attend the opening session of the Welcome Week that took place at the Gran Teatro Caixa Bank Príncipe Pío.

The Welcome Week of EAE Business School Madrid was inaugurated yesterday, Monday 17 April 2023 with a networking event and presentations of the different departments of the school, in the Gran Teatro Caixa Bank Príncipe Pío, presented and conducted by José Luis Santamaría, CEO at New Being.

The Dean of EAE Madrid, Antonio Rodríguez Ruibal, was in charge of welcoming all the students. Antonio explained to the students that Welcome is one of the most important weeks for EAE Madrid, but also for them, since "you are starting a new stage in your lives that will mark your professional future," the dean remarked.

Antonio also told the students that they were in one of the best schools in the world to learn and get the best out of themselves.

Finally, he advised them to learn, to take advantage of the classes, "feel that the classes are part of the learning process. Be good disciples of your teachers. Take advantage of their knowledge to develop your full potential, as they are the people in charge of teaching you the tools to get the best out of yourselves".

The main objective of the Welcome Week is for students to get to know the different services offered by EAE Business School Madrid, as well as the faculty and their classmates. Giuseppe Emanuele Adamo, Director of Marketing and Communication at EAE Madrid, explained how the whole academic area works and advised students to have a proactive attitude in the classes "we have to make this journey together. Giving classes and teaching is not only teaching content, but we also have to share experience and methodology with you".

Giuseppe Emanuele also encouraged all students that "If we all have the same attitude and pursue the same goals, it will be the perfect combination to make it the best years of your lives".

Federica Assandría, director of Talent for Impact at EAE Madrid, was the next to explain the mission and objective of the department, both for professional careers and the Emprende area.

The head of Talent for Impact explained the importance of taking advantage of the professional careers and counselling service, as well as all the activities they organise so that they can start designing their professional future. "I invite you to join this journey, get involved and be active on a daily basis".

The next department to explain its services was Customer Experience, led by its director, Gema Medina. Gema told them what the Customer and Student Care service consists of and encouraged them to count on them for everything they need since "our department will help you to make your experience in the day to day life of EAE Madrid unforgettable".

The event concluded with the Alumni Talks in which four alumni talked about their experience at EAE Madrid. Cristian Rivas, Co-founder of Aloja Experience gave some keys on how to become an entrepreneur and briefly explained his experience with EAE Emprende.

The next alumni to give her testimony was Agustina Angelino who explained her path from the time she started studying her Master's Degree in Law Analysis and Public Management to her current position in the Community of Madrid. Agustina advised students to be patient and not to give up because each experience is unique. "You never know when networking, your colleagues, professors or departments will help you build your future".

Nelson Florian, on the other hand, told about his experience at EAE Madrid and highlighted that at the school he met excellent teachers and thanked Carreras Profesionales for opening the doors to the labour market in Spain.

Finally, Silvia Moneo, explained that studying the Master in Human Resources and Talent Development at EAE Madrid exceeded her expectations, gave her a 360º vision of the HR world and prepared her for her next professional challenge. Silvia said that "without my time at EAE Madrid I would not have got the job of my dreams".

José Luis Santamaria, the presenter of the event, was in charge of putting the finishing touch, thanking all the students for their attendance and encouraging them to give their all during this course and not to be afraid of anything and to be brave enough to accept new challenges that will allow them to achieve their dreams.

The Welcome will last until 21 April, during which students will have the opportunity to participate in different sessions with the different departments, as well as soft skills workshops and masterclasses given by experts from different sectors.
